midlife cont...

Word M.E.D.I.C.I.N.E.™ invites a different approach.
By consciously examining and reshaping the stories we live inside of, we create a space for new identities to emerge. Midlife then becomes less about fulfilling inherited expectations and more about consciously choosing the chapter we are stepping into and shifting what becomes possible.
At the heart of this work is a simple notion:

"The capacity to reverse,
is the same capacity required to regenerate"

Most people readily accept the possibility of symptom reversal, yet rarely consider that regeneration may simply be another expression of the same principle. In 2010, I was diagnosed with sever Electro-Hypersensitivity (EHS), a condition that Dr. Magda Havas, Associate Professor of Environmental & Resource Studies at Trent University, referred to as "Rapid Aging Syndrome" because of the way it impacted the mind, the body and ones quality of life. I was 49 years of age.At the time, I experienced symptoms that included chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, Alzheimers, heart palpitations, short and long term memory loss, insomnia, tinnitus, brain fog, vertigo, and trembling hands.Over time and with inner guidance, I was able to reverse those symptoms.More than 15 years later, and none of those symptoms have returned. While our bodies are constantly renewing and adapting, many of us continue to live inside narratives that expect decline.Word MEDICINE™ invites us to examine those expectations and consciously participate in creating narratives that support vitality, possibility, growth and renewal.
